By Mike-Ross

Throughout our lives, certain scents, melodies, and locations hold an everlasting place in our hearts, defying the passage of time. For Kevin Topham, one such place holds a profound significance – the venue where he first encountered his late wife, who peacefully passed away in 2018. Their initial meeting occurred on the dance floor back in 1949, and from that serendipitous instant, they embarked on a beautiful journey together, celebrating 66 years of marriage.
Though five years have elapsed since Molly's passing, it is evident that the memories of his beloved wife still linger vividly in the mind of the 95-year-old veteran. Learning that the venue of their fateful meeting was reopening, Kevin's heart brimmed with nostalgia, and he eagerly anticipated revisiting the cherished place. Fortunately, his caregiver was more than delighted to accompany him and share in the joy of dancing, keeping alive the spirit of their enduring love.

Wanting the day to be special, Kevin wore a suit featuring his military medals. Based on the smile on this sweet 95-year-old’s face, it’s clear he had a great time. Now, the venue is even considering throwing monthly events for folks over 60 years old!
Watch Kevin dance where he and Molly met all those years ago in the video below.
