Pregnant elephant gives birth, now pay attention who shows up on the right side of the screen
By Mike-Ross

Meet Emily the elephant, an orphaned calf who was rescued by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya. In her early days, Emily found herself trapped in an old pit latrine near a prison camp in Manyani. Weak and malnourished, she underwent a remarkable recovery at the Trust's Nairobi Park Elephant Nursery.
Years have passed, and now Emily, fully grown, is on the verge of welcoming her second calf born in the wild. Despite her reintroduction to the wild, she chose to return to the very place that nurtured her—the wildlife trust—to give birth.
The caretakers were left astounded by this heartwarming turn of events. They had not sought out Emily or attempted to bring her back for this special occasion. The profound connection between Emily and her rescuers left everyone in awe, as they witnessed the miracle unfold before their eyes.
The caretakers posted the following video to their website and wrote, “the event was filled with trumpets and rumbles of joy from EMILY’s satellite herd of ex orphans who had accompanied her back, all of whom were eager to gently help get the new precious bundle to its feet, nudging it gently, and using their trunks to lift the baby.”
Now Emily has two daughters, Eve and the newborn Emma.
Watch the breathtaking miracle of life appear before your eyes in the video below. Isn’t this incredible?
