At just 9-years-old, William Maillis graduated high school. Now at 11, he’s hoping to poke some holes in a theory about God originally discussed by one of the world’s most influential astrophysicists.
Stephen Hawking theorized “Before we understood science, it was natural to believe that God created the universe, but now, science offers a more convincing explanation. What I meant by ‘we would know the mind of God’ is we would know everything that God would know if there was a God, but there isn’t. I’m an atheist.”

Many people are quick to disagree with Hawking, but few are capable of adequately defending their opinion. Debating creation, the purpose of existence, and the presence of God has been a grand tradition of humanity, and this young boy has a very convincing counter-argument.
