Teen travels via horse 6 miles through snow storm to help stranded trucker seen on traffic cam
By Mike-Ross

18-year-old Eileen Eagle Bears was watching the news during a blizzard when she noticed footage from a local traffic camera not far from her home in Manitoba, Canada. In the live footage, she saw a semi truck stranded on the highway with the driver still inside.
She recognized the location, which was just about 4 miles away from her home. She felt terrible for the driver and knew she could help.
Eileen saddled up her faithful horse, Mr. Smudge, and started her 3-mile journey through a snow storm to help the stranded stranger.

The driver couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw a horse and rider outside his window. He was further surprised to see Eileen prepare a hot cup of coffee for him from her thermos.
By the time the pair found the driver, he was asleep in his truck after the cold and restless night. He couldn’t believe it when he looked outside his window and saw the teen and her horse standing there with a cup of hot coffee for him.
Before turning around to complete her 6-mile round trip, Eileen promised she would be back again that evening if his situation didn’t improve.
