Family has very emotional reunion with loving dog that was gone for 6 months

The Pablo and Andrea Campos thought their dog Tawny would be safe and sound when they left her at a boarding facility in Ingham County, Michigan for a family vacation.
Suddenly, their trip came to a tragic end when they learned Tawny vanished from her enclosure just a few days later. Staff at the boarding facility told the Campos family that Tawny ran away after being scared by fireworks.
Pablo and Andrea rushed home with their kids and started their long and fruitless search for Tawny. “We went door to door to people’s houses and just looking for weeks and weeks and weeks and she was nowhere to be found,” they said in an interview with WXYZ-TV.
Six months passed without any sign of Tawny until a group of postal workers found her living in the woods near their Livonia office almost 60 miles from where she disappeared.
