Loving son pays off parents’ entire mortgage using his first paycheck
By FoxIsHere

What did you do with your first paycheck? Pavin Smith used his to pay off his parents’ entire mortgage in a touching gesture of love and gratitude for all of their support over his life.
The 21-year-old was the seventh draft pick in Major League Baseball when he joined the Arizona Diamondbacks with a $5 million bonus.
While many other young athletes blow their sudden income increase on cars, booze, and parties, Smith wanted to do something to help his family.

The first-baseman delivered the gift in the form of a written letter. “Thank you for raising me in a great home filled with love,” he wrote. “Because of all the sacrifices you made to get me where I am, I want our family home to be yours.”
Smith sat down with his parents and recorded a video as they read the note.
