Woman tossed away ‘loser’ lotto ticket, store owner sees it’s worth $1 million and gets it back to her
By Mike-Ross

After recovering from a severe case of COVID-19, Lea Rose Fiega was thankful to be out of quarantine and back at work. While on her first lunch break back, she stopped by a local convenience store and decided to test her luck with a scratch-off lottery ticket.
She was disappointed that the $30 Diamond Millions ticket was a bust and handed the ‘loser’ ticket back to the clerk, Abhi Shah, asking him to throw it in the trash. Lea went back to work having no idea that she mis-read the ticket and had actually won $1 million!
The ticket sat in a separate trash bin with other discarded scratch-offs. It was by sheer chance that Abhi noticed the ticket was actually a winner while tidying up.
Watch the video below and find out how Abhi went above and beyond to make sure Lea received the winnings she was entitled to!
