6-Year-Old gets 150 Bunchems Balls stuck in hair—takes over over 20 hours for mom to remove them

For all parents out there, Lisa Tschirlig Hoelzle has a word of caution you need to hear
Our story begins when Lisa’s small children, Abigail and Noah, walked down to the basement to play. Ten minutes later, Noah came running up the stairs saying that his sister had “something” trapped in her hair… a phrase no mother wants to hear.
It turns out that Noah had dumped a full bucket of Bunchems onto his sister’s head.

For those who don’t know, Bunchems are a colorful toy for toddlers that have won several awards over the years for their use in creative free-play. They’re described as “colorful little balls that stick to each other and build like no other.” The balls are covered in tiny “fingers” that help them stick together. Unfortunately, these fingers can also act like Velcro hooks when in contact with human hair.
Abigail had more than 150 of the tiny balls embedded in her hair. Lisa and her husband took turns and stayed up all night to detangle the mess. After a whopping 21 hours, Abigail was Bunchem-free. See the incredible transformation in the video below
