Hero heard a faint voice from a padlocked shed, rescues 6-year-old boy left alone with hands tied
By Mike-Ross

In Dallas, Juan Vaquero rented a camper from his landlord and her boyfriend.
Juan had been acquainted with the landlord’s 6-year-old grandson, who was frequently in the backyard.
Juan was standing outdoors when he heard a faint, muted voice. He walked outside in the dark, exploring the yard with his phone flashlight, and eventually tracked the quiet voice to a shed behind his camper.
The shed was padlocked. As Juan walked closer to the shed he recognized the voice as his landlord’s grandson.
Juan started filming the horrible moment as he spoke with the boy through the locked door.

The small boy explained why he was imprisoned, how long he’d been there, and the conditions inside. Juan’s heart sank as the terrible reality of the situation sank in and he knew he must do something. That night, he contacted Child Protective Services.
When Dallas cops came, they discovered Juan’s landlord, her boyfriend, and two other kids inside the home.
When they finally got the key to open the shed, they could not believe their eyes.
Things may have ended in disaster if it hadn’t been for Juan’s decision to seek justice.
