Couple married for 91 years have 64 grandchildren – and they’re still madly in love
By Mike-Ross

Finding a love that lasts a lifetime is something not everyone is lucky enough to get. But once in a while, we come across stories that restore our faith in not just love but the institute of marriage itself.
This couple stuck together in the most difficult circumstances imaginable, and today, they are as strong as ever.
Zechariah and Shama’a were merely children when they got married. Both of them were respectively 12 and 10 years old when they tied the knot, a custom that was very usual for their community at the time. Since both of them were orphans, they were obligated to get married early. And once they did get married, they became each other’s strength.

The couple was in Yemen and lived in a donkey barn that they cleaned during the initial stages of their marriage. They then were able to move to Israel in their twenties and built a life for themselves in their new country. They are said to be one of the first Yemeni Jewish couples who moved to Israel once it was established.
The couple had 11 children together and are now grandparents and great-grandparents to 64 children.
The couple has been married for 91 years and has seen it all together. Both of them are over 100 years old and have some simple lessons they have learned from life.

We send them all the luck and send them well wishes for them and their beautiful family.
