Hero kid saves elderly neighbor who was trapped in their basement for days

One of 3-year-old Eyas Tran’s favorite activities was delivering the newspaper to Peggy, an elderly neighbor who lived alone in the home next door.
Eyas noticed a newspaper on Peggy’s porch were piling up while walking with his parents through their New Hampshire neighborhood.
As Eyas went to her front door to deliver the next paper to her, he counted at least three additional newspapers that were left unread.
The young boy rang Peggy’s doorbell, but nobody responded. His parents noticed that her car was in the garage, and sensed something wasn’t right.
They made a police report. Authorities now claim that if Eyas hadn’t been there, things could have ended in tragedy.
