Bullied kid asks cop to come to his birthday party, officer arrives and sees no other guests showed up
By waterbaby

Thomas Daniel had no idea a police officer was watching as he ran to catch up with his school bus that left without him.
Officer Austin Lynema saw the little boy miss his bus and asked if he needed assistance. Thomas said that his mother didn’t own a car and couldn’t drive him to school. Officer Lynema took the boy back home and received permission from his family to bring him to school in a squad car.
During the ride to school, Thomas mentioned that it was his 9th birthday and invited Officer Lynema to his party, which was scheduled to happen that day after school.
Thomas also admitted that he had been bullied by his peers and that he was unsure whether anyone would attend his party. Officer Lynema told Thomas that he wouldn’t miss his birthday party and dropped the soon-to-be 9-year-old off at school.

That evening, Officer Lynema returned to the Daniel home and discovered just Thomas’ siblings present. In the end, none of his classmates appeared and there wasn’t even a birthday cake.
Officer Lynema could see the disappointment on Thomas’s face and knew something had to be done. The next day Officer Lynema returned, but this time with some special ‘backup’.
