Good Man gives back $27,000 after security leaves it outside ATM — “They looked dumbfounded”
By waterbaby

George Condash was making a transaction at his credit union’s ATM when he noticed an odd metal box sitting in the middle of the road. Being a good Samaritan, George went to investigate the box before a driver accidentally hit it with their car.
He bent over to move the box when he saw a tag that read “$40,000.”
It turns out the black metal box was forgotten by an armored security guard who had been servicing the ATM. (There was only $27,000 inside, but who’s counting?)
George didn’t hesitate to turn around and bring the box to the clerks inside his credit union.
“Is there a reward for $40,000?” he asked as he dropped the box on the desk. The employees “just looked dumbfounded,” he said in an interview with WDIV.
Watch the video below and find out just how much it pays to be honest!
