How To Make An Easy 15-Minute Fabric Mask With A Free Pattern
By JamieFlower

I was very excited when I discovered this easy face mask video tutorial by Owl Be Sewing on Youtube because it is used with a free pattern you can print out. The majority of masks available right now are made from paper, but, the surgical masks in the Sixties and early Seventies were made of cloth and laundered at high temperatures. So if you are using a mask to just wear to the grocery store or for a small trip out and you want a protection barrier, a cloth mask will work fine for those purposes.
Quick note: the masks that you can create at home are not proven to protect against COVID 19. For more information about how to protect yourself against COVID 19, please view this link from the CDC Website describing all safe practices during the COVID 19 outbreak.
