Don Knotts was an American comedy icon! You might know him as Barney Fife from “The Andy Griffith Show” or maybe as the landlord Mr. Furley on “Three’s Company” or maybe you know him from “The Apple Dumpling Gang” or anything else because he was memorable in just about everything he appeard in.
He was in more than 80 movies and television shows and his career stretched from the 1950s until 2011.
This was a character he did known as the “Nervous Chap” on the “Steve Allen Show.” This was one of the bits that jump-started his career and got him a role in “It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World.”
Oh boy. There will never be another Don Knotts. He was a legend!
