Farmer Records Baby Goats Giving This Horse A Hard Time, He Realized It Would Be A Viral Hit

A few years ago, I took a trip across the country to Joshua Tree in California. The otherworldly desert environment is one of my favorite places to visit, and this trip was no exception. I rented an apartment on Airbnb, which came complete with two goats who hung out in the fenced-in yard area. They were large and very curious and really wanted to climb on top of everything they could.
If you know that goats have an insatiable climbing habit, then you’re not going to be too surprised by what happens in this footage. But if you know a thing or two about goats (or even if you don’t), you’re going to absolutely love what you see happening in this clip because it is utterly hilarious.
A farmer was going about his business when he happened to gaze outside at his horse, which was lying down for a rest. The steed was called Mr. G and he obviously just wanted some “me time” away from the other wildlife and the duties of the farm. Fine. We all deserve a break every so often, don’t we?
Suddenly, a trio of baby goats sauntered over to the resting horse. They started to kick dust up everywhere they went and were in a visibly frisky mood. Mr. G didn’t want anything to do with the fun-loving goats, so he tried to ignore them and get back to rest. But the goats took that as an invitation to play even harder. So one of the goats starts to climb onto Mr. G’s back. But he can’t get a good grip on his skin. So the goat tries and tries and eventually gets up on Mr. G’s back as if he is a mountain he always wanted to climb.
Then the baby goat scuttles down to the other side before he comes back up again to repeat the pattern. He is having so much fun he does it again and again. Because the goat is having so much fun on the horse’s back, he does a few spins and even a couple of tricks that get him noticed.
There is one theory out there that Mr. G actually enjoyed the experience. Perhaps it was like it was a massage and not like an annoying gnat bothering him. Either way, the horse is patient while the goat climbs all over him, digging its hooves into his flesh and bones.
Then the second goat jumps onto the horse’s back. Clearly, they are having too much fun for their own good. The third one keeps his feet on the dirt and just circles the horse and his buddies. It’s an endearing scene that quickly went viral after the farmer shared it online. Take a moment to review the footage yourself.
