There are so many photo-worthy moments during the first Christmas with a newborn - our camera's memory fills up in a flash.
So when baby Summer Noel was gearing up for her first Christmas, Mommy and Daddy really knew how to make it special! They spent hours creating the perfect way to honor their daughter first Christmas. It all had to do with fusing their appreciation for Christmas music with the celebration of Summer's first holiday season...
Once the creative process was complete, it was time for Mom and Dad to teach Summer their catching new tune. The first thing they had to do was teach her (from the very beginning) about the real meaning behind the joyous holiday. Instead of presents, bows and ribbon - they should focus on love, happiness and being together.
Step two? Dress Summer up in the most precious Christmas clothing you could possibly imagine. Mom and Dad decked her out in the sweetest gingerbread dress on the market. There was no way she was going to be on-camera looking frumpy in an old outfit!
Finally, Summer's parents gave her a private concert featuring her super-talented minister Daddy! They wanted to show her just how wonderful Christmas is using the power of song. During a holiday when being surrounded by family is what matters the most, it's great to see such a loving father start this adorable tradition. We can only hope Dad sings this song to Summer every single year when Christmastime rolls around!
As Summer bops along in her father's arms, Mom watches with a smile on her face. Everyone in the room was just so happy to share their love of the holiday season. It's impossible not to want to snuggle Summer up in your arms and sing along with Dad's cheery lyrics!
This cute family of three will have this video of their daughter to look back on for years to come - and hopefully, their baby girl will have the same winsome smile on her face!
We can't think of a better way to ring in the season. Perhaps we can all take a lesson from Dad's song and try something like this with own children! It's never too late to start a new tradition.
