Young Man Stabbed To Death After He Was Seen Giving Homeless Man This ‘Gift’

A teen boy from the Bronx was murdered close to Mount Hope as he chose to help a homeless man. The young man was stabbed to death after they noticed what he gave to the homeless man, who was in need of help. Unfortunately, the “gift” he wanted to give to this stranger came with a big price that he never expected, as it ultimately costed him his life.
Carl Ducasse was a man with dreams of being an attorney that was about to graduate high school. Sadly, he would never get the chance as he was stabbed numerous times in his chest on a Friday night. Carl lived just a block from the tragic scene and his mother made it clear that he was not a thug.

“He was never a kid of the streets,” said Angela Ducasse, Carl’s mother. “He was a regular teenager. He was never arrested. He said he wanted to be a lawyer. We already bought his graduation clothes.”
A friend of Carl’s, who was with him at the time of the arrack, relayed what happened to the family, and it looks like Carl was literally killed because of kindness. The attack happened around 11:20 pm after Carl offered a homeless man, who was living at the nearby shelter, two dollars. After handing over the money to the man, Carl bent down to pick up his dropped phone. That’s when the killer struck. The suspect apparently stole the dying teen’s phone after he collapsed to the sidewalk.
“The homeless guy wanted more,” said a weeping Angela, the slain teen’s mother. “He died because of $2. I can’t believe he’s gone.”
The man that was offered the two dollars is not the man who stabbed Carl to death, but a teenaged boy has now lost his life because he gave what he had to a homeless man, who thought it wasn’t enough. Within hours of being murdered, killed for kindness, a memorial with candles appeared outside the teenager’s home.

Cops have confirmed that Ducasse was approached by a homeless man, who asked him for money. Ducasse gave him what he had, but rather than thank him for it, an argument ensued about the low amount offered shortly before a second man armed with a knife appeared and attacked the teen. According to the police, no arrests have made in the killing yet.
