Instructions:
Start with a plastic bottle, colored tape, a balloon, and colored construction paper in America's colors. Cut the top of the plastic bottle off and discard the rest. Cover the edge of the bottle with colored tape, such as painter's tape, to give even the popper patriotic homage. Stretch the balloon over the mouth of the bottle, then work it down over the bottle to shorten the balloon. Cut the paper into tiny pieces, then fill the popper. To make these 4th of July crafts for kids pop, hold down the balloon over the mouth of the bottle and pull back the balloon for the air to be filled the colors of the season. The kids will go crazy for these party poppers and have a great time celebrating Independence Day with them!
