She Drops A Can Of Milk In Pot Of Boiling Water & Waits. The Result Is A Creamy Dessert You'll Love

Every so often, a recipe comes along that is so simple it seems too good to be true. While many delicious desserts require countless ingredients and complicated steps, this treat offers up all the goodness with a fraction of the effort. Not only is it easy to make, but it only requires 1 ingredient! As long as you have a kitchen timer, a pot of water, and a can of condensed milk, you will have this creamy dessert waiting for you in no time.

As you will see, this one-ingredient recipe requires no expertise at all! Interestingly, the can of condensed milk does all the work for you when submerged under boiling water. Inside the can, it creates a self-made pressure cooker to caramelize the contents inside. The result? All the flavorful goodness of caramel, toffee, and creamy milk combined into one delicious dessert. As the can boils in the water, there is really only one thing to keep in mind. Make sure that the can stays fully submerged (this is where your kitchen timer will come in handy to keep adding to water at intervals).

This caramel dessert, also known as Dulce de Leche, has been a favorite dessert for ages. Many who would love to enjoy this silky smooth, caramel-like dessert simply lack the time or the resources to make it. As Jemma from this video explains, less conventional ways of making Dulce de Leche are not exactly practical either - like stirring a pot of condensed milk for seven hours (no, thanks!) This recipe is the exact opposite of impractical. Watch this how-to video below, and you will be surprised at how simple it is! Watch a delicious dessert unfold like magic before your eyes in this tutorial below!
