She Takes The Stage To Sing A Song Everyone Thought No Human Voice Could Sing, Blows Crowd Away
By Mike-Ross

Rock stars make their music happen with a wee bit of help from good old “autotune.” They can get away with it when they release their albums, but when they go on tour, that’s when fans realize their favorite singers don’t sound so great in person. On the other hand, opera singers need to have amazing vocals that are on point for every single live performance they give. However, there is one elusive song that even opera singers haven’t been able to nail without the help of technology – until now. It was thought impossible for the human voice to master.

You might remember the movie The Fifth Element, which was a sci-fi action flick that starred Bruce Willis. The film had a scene in which an opera “diva” wore a funky blue dress and had tentacles coming out of her head. As memorable as that image may be, it was actually the beautiful opera song that mesmerized the audience. When this song was originally written, it was sung several different times and then put together because they thought it was impossible for one person to sing it. Opera singer Jane Zhang has proven them wrong.

As Jane starts to sing the impossible song, the tempo is gentle and slow, which only seems to enhance her soft and subtle voice. But, three minutes into the performance the music drastically changes and she blows the audience away. Jane’s video has over 21 million views, and there’s a good reason why. This woman is definitely not hiding behind a bevvy of electronic friends – her amazing vocals are au naturale! Watch the video below to see this incredible, and “impossible” vocal performance. This charismatic wonder woman of the opera world really nailed it!
