Bless Your Thanksgiving With A Pull-Apart Treat That Your Family Will Be Very Thankful For

It doesn’t matter if it’s our first Thanksgiving or our twenty-first— we all want our relatives to leave our Thanksgiving tables happy, stuffed, and – yes – at least a little impressed by our cooking abilities. In our experience, people are always dazzled when you make something from scratch that everybody normally just buys at the store— like bread! Add in some extra holiday-specific flavor and you’ve got a dish everybody will be talking about for years.

Laura in the Kitchen shows us how to make exactly that with this recipe for Pumpkin Pull-Apart Bread that’s topped with a cream cheese glaze for extra delight. Watch how it’s made, then read on to get your recipe!

You’ll Need

Dough
– 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 1/4 cup water, warmed up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit
– 4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 3/4 cup whole milk
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Filling
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup pumpkin butter
Glaze
– 4 ounces cream cheese, softened at room temperature
– 2 cups powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– About 3 tablespoons whole milk
