A blind teen shocked and amazing an entire sports stadium when she broke out of her shell and sang the national anthem. At only 16-years-old, that a disability and young age doesn't have to stop you from having talent and doing amazing things. Once Marlena was led onto the court, it was her time to shine. Filled with curiosity, the basketball fans waited for her performance to begin while she was getting ready to blow them all away.
Only seconds into her performance, she made the deepest impression on all who listened. Everything from her talent, beautiful tone, and powerful voice had them all captivated. The whole audience was stunned by this teenager's ability to sing flawlessly, yet her performance just kept getting better. Her voice was so powerful that it shook her entire body getting the high notes out. This was no ordinary performance of "Star Spangled Banner" by any means.
Tackling a song like this is not easy, especially when it is done in front of an entire crowd, yet Marlena did it with such courage.
