3 Men Walk In An Empty Church, Cover Beatles Classic That Sending Chills Down Everyone's Spine
By Mike-Ross

Thousands of talented artists have covered the hit Beatles song "Let It Be" - but none hold a candle to the rendition GENTRI just released. The three professionally trained tenors gathered inside of a gorgeous church to perform the song that took over the globe several decades ago. In addition to giving a stunning performance, GENTRI provided a little history behind "Let It Be."

According to several sources, the "Mother Mary" referred to in the lyrics was actually Paul McCartney's mother, a brilliant woman named Mary. She was a huge source of comfort to Paul growing up, but unfortunately she passed away when he was just 14 years old. However, years later Mary visited her son in a dream when he was struggling to come to terms with a big life choice. Mary's advice was simple: let it be. Paul later spoke about the dream, saying, "It was great to visit with her again. I felt very blessed to have that dream. So that got me writing 'Let It Be'."

Sure enough, "Let It Be" was a massive hit and inspired countless other artists to record their own renditions. Despite the many versions, GENTRI's performance takes the cake. Listen to their chilling version for yourself by pressing "play" on the video below!
