Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion step onstage, bring house down when they sing ‘The Prayer’
By Dreamer

With good reason, the popular song ‘The Prayer’ by none other than Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli has always been considered a fantastic duet, and perhaps one of the most impressive songs in the music industry by specialists and casual listeners alike.

The world-famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli reunited with his duet partner Celine Dion in Central Park, New York, to give a fantastic performance of their hit song ‘The Prayer’ once again.
Their performance in Central Park is simply astonishing, and it’s just as good if not better than their original rendition back in 1998. Celine’s pure and crisp voices blend it perfectly with Andrea’s deep tenor voice, while the mixture of English and Italian works so surprisingly well. The choir in the background gives the whole song the perfect finishing touch.

A performance of ‘The Prayer’ always gives people goosebumps, even after all those years. It’s fantastic to see how these two insanely talented musical superstars come together to perform one of the greatest duets of all time.

‘The Prayer’ was a part of the soundtrack of the feature movie Quest for Camelot: Music from the Motion Picture. The track was both released on an album of Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli, in true unison. The song released in March of 1999 and is still going strong eighteen years later. The Prayer was even nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1999 and was nominated for a Grammy Award the following year for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
