Camping family feeds a stray cat. Then she brings her babies and they adopt the whole family

A father and son were on a weekend camping trip when they came across a mother cat and her four adorable kittens abandoned and alone.
The duo camp together all the time, frequenting the same local spot each time. This time, however, they arrived to find some unsuspecting guests.
“When we arrived there was a cat. It was quite skinny and obviously abandoned,” said Michael.
While Michael was pitching the tent, his son spent time cozying up to their new friend. He petted her back and she returned the favor by rubbing against his legs.
“My son got to work trying to catch some bluegill to feed the cat since we only brought enough food for dinner and breakfast,” Michael added.
They quickly became close and attached to each other as though they had been friends forever.
After dinner, the cat disappeared unexpectedly. They briefly looked around for her but she was nowhere to be found.
“A couple hours later I wake up to some noise and go outside to check. Now instead of two eyes staring at me, I see eight glowing eyes reflecting the light from my phone,” Michael said.
The smart cat had gathered her babies and brought them back to Michael and his son so they could take care of them as they had for her.
The following morning, Michael knew he couldn’t in good conscience leave the poor kittens and their heroic mom in the wild and they decided to take them all home.
“The next morning we caught over 13 bluegills and a couple catfish. Let’s just say by the end of the day the momma cat was stuffed,” said Michael. “There is no way this cat was not domesticated the way she craves human attention.”
The mother and her kittens are now safe and sound at home. They have been spayed/ neutered at the vet and underwent many other checks to make sure they were in perfect health.
“It’s been a week now and they love it here. My family has decided we are keeping all of them,” Michael said.
