WATCH: Mom Records Video At Son’s Grave, SHOCKED By What Else It Caught

After her 4-year-old child died from a brain tumor back in 2014, a mother went to visit her son’s grave. However, things would soon take a turn when the woman asked for “a sign” before recording a short clip – and moments later, she would be left shocked by what else she managed to catch in just a few short seconds.

Marie Robinson lost her young son Jack just three months after he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. As she and her family do every year, the 45-year-old woman loaded up her daughters and Jack’s identical twin into a car to pay their respects on the anniversary of his death on April 1st.

“Early Saturday morning I got in the car and said out loud, ‘Jack, please show Mummy a sign,’ and thought I’ll see him after I finished work,” she later told Mirror. Just like that, the family headed down to the boy’s grave which was adorned with a headstone that read, in part, “Always in our dreams/ Forever in our hearts/ ‘Fly high.'”

While sitting next to her son’s headstone, it wasn’t long before Marie noticed something rather odd. “I was overcome with emotion and I sat on the grass next to Jack,” said the grieving mom. “With that a little robin kept flying around me trying to land on me, eventually landing on my foot. He didn’t seem scared at all.”

However, that would be the least bizarre of what was to come as the bird then flew over and landed on Jack’s headstone. When Marie took out her phone to start recording, that’s when things got truly incredible as the robin flew over and landed on the woman’s hand.

As one would imagine, the touching ordeal brought the woman to tears as she took it as the sign she’d previously asked for that day. “He kept looking at me directly in my face, and at one point, he landed on my shoulder and nibbled me a couple of times,” she said.

After being posted on Facebook, the video has since gone viral with over 100,000 shares in just a few short days. “Every time I lose someone close I have a Robbin (sic) come to me the day after,” one person who commented on Robinson’s Facebook post said. “It’s comforting. Hope it put a smile on your face as big as the smile I had.”

There is never an easy way to cope with death and grief, but we always manage to move on sooner or later as life inevitably continues. Fortunately, there are always blessings out there just waiting to be enjoyed when we need it most.
