Cops Check On Baby Boy, What’s On His Face Exposes Mom’s Nasty Secret

As if things weren’t bad enough for police officers who came to check on an infant in trouble, the situation only got worse as soon as they walked through the door. After officers picked up the newborn, they immediately spotted something rather odd on his face – and that’s when they realized the nasty secret the baby’s mom was hiding.
Aishia Marie Pacheco gave birth to a son named Tyler on May 20th and was more than delighted to take the boy home 3 days later. Unfortunately, the North Carolina mother would call the police just one day later, saying that her son wasn’t breathing.
Police and first responders quickly arrived to check on the baby and rushed in to see if there was anything they could do. Unfortunately, Tyler was dead – but not everything was as it seemed.
According to reports, police quickly noticed something odd about the baby’s face after seeing significant bruises on Tyler’s nose and mouth. Within just a few short moments of questioning, Ms. Pacheco revealed the nasty secret she was hiding and admitted to what had actually happened.

IJ Review reports, “Alexander County Sheriff Chris Bowman tells WBTV that Pacheco told them she had held the baby up to her chest and smothered him, on purpose, because he would not stop crying.” Sadly, this took place on the first full day this mother had her new child at home with her.
Police quickly arrested the woman and charged her with second-degree murder. Pacheco is currently behind bars and being held on a $1 million bond. Unfortunately, the story only gets worse from there, as it’s most recently been revealed that the disgusting excuse for a mother waited hours before calling 911 to help her son.

When asked about what she’d done, Pacheco told reporters, “It was an accident. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to do it.” As for Sheriff Bowman, he says he’s unclear if post-partum depression played a part in the murder. “There are lots of individuals out there that is begging for a child that can’t have children,” he said. “It’s just a crying shame that something like this had to happen.”
Sadly, he’s absolutely right. There are plenty of options out there for new mothers who find themselves overwhelmed, and there’s really no excuse for things coming to this point. Whatever the backstory may be with Pacheco, she killed someone. The worst part is that she killed someone belonging to the most innocent and defenseless of all demographics – and for that, she’s exactly where she deserves to be.
