As parents, we always try out best to help our children when we can. While failing is a part of growing up, it’s tough to watch our children stumble and fall when we can just as easily hold their hands and help them out.
A little girl named August knew just how important it was to learn on your own and be independent. This little girl is struggling with her car seat, and when Dad tries to help her out, she gives him a solid piece of advice that has Dad trying hard to contain his laughter.
In the video below, Dad records himself trying to help August with her car seat. However, August immediately snaps at Dad and tells him to “worry about yourself.” She wants to be independent, and she refuses to accept Dad’s assistance.
It’s a hilarious moment for the family, and I’m so glad Dad was able to capture this on camera. It’s one of the first signs of little August growing up and maturing.
