While it can be hard to recognize the presence of such a celestial being, those who believe and are not afraid to speak about it, admit that it happens more often than not. And when Alabama, the super music group who reached famed in the late 1970s, decided to sing about it. Everyone listened to their song “Angels Among Us.”

Before you watch the heart melting video, here is some information about Alabama. They first formed in Fort Wayne, Alabama back in 1969. Randy Owen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and his cousin Teddy Gentry (bass guitar, background vocals) founded the band. Soon they recruited their other cousin Jeff Cook (lead guitar, fiddle, keyboards) and started gigging.
Before being known by Alabama, they were first called Wildcountry – forever proclaiming their allegiance to the real America. Throughout the 1970s, they toured the Southeast and eventually started writing their own songs.
When they released some tracks and received chart success on two singles in 1977, RCA Records approached them and the rest is history.
