This Is The One Corn Recipe My Friends Who Don’t Care For The Vegetable Devour [video]

While I was never a big fan of the ingredient, my wife absolutely can’t live without corn. While I’d prefer more of our meals to include pasta or even broccoli, she just needs to have corn – in my opinion it is a compulsion.
But since I want her to be happy, we eat a lot of corn. But honestly, having it so often made me sick of it. But instead of complaining, I went online and tried to find a recipe that would make me feel differently. The result was this. Below, you’ll discover a corn recipe that will make someone who doesn’t even like corn into a corn lover.
If you love going to the county fair and getting that shiny ear of corn slathered in butter, you’re going to enjoy this crockpot recipe even more. It tastes just as good and no part of the vegetable goes to waste. Check it out below and see how this amazing recipe can transform your dinner table today!

While this slow cooker corn recipe might be easy to make, the ease of cooking does NOT detract from its taste. Not only is this a perfect holiday recipe, it can turn any meal into a treat.
The Semisweet Sisters have to say about this recipe: “Just dump everything in the crockpot and serve after a few hours. My only tip is to push any little pieces of corn that are stuck to the sides down into the mixture so they don’t burn. This is great reheated also.”
You’ll want the following ingredients to make this delectable corn side dish:
-20-30 oz of frozen corn
-1 Philadelphia cream cheese 8 oz
-½ cup Land O’ Lakes butter
-½ cup Land O’ Lakes milk or half & half
-1 tablespoon Domino sugar
-1 teaspoon Morton salt (or to taste)
-½ teaspoon of pepper (or to taste)
TIP: Use less salt of canned corn and a bit extra for frozen corn.
Simply pour all your ingredients into your slow cooker. Stir them around. Then place the cooker on high for 2-4 hours or low for 4-6 hours. After an hour of cooking, give it a stir then place the top back on.
When the side dish is complete, stir the corn and serve it hot along with your main dish.
The Semisweet Sisters love this recipe: “This corn is crazy good!!!! I’m making it for Thanksgiving this year. Super easy!”
Here’s what some fans on their website said about this corn in the crockpot recipe:
“Oh my gosh!!! This has got to be the BEST creamed corn I have ever had!!”
“I made this last year and froze it and it came out perfect.”
If you’re still against using corn, here are some health benefits to adding it to your diet:
-An ear of sweet corn has the same amount of calories as an apple and ¼ less sugar.
-When corn is cooked, antioxidant activity is increased. Corn becomes more nutritious and beneficial when cooked!
-Sweet corn is loaded with lutein and zeaxanthin, which promote healthy vision!
