Kid Rock has been known to be one of the “tougher” guys in music. He has a mind of his own, and he has never been afraid to speak up about his beliefs.
To some people this makes Kid Rock seem like he doesn’t care at times. That obviously isn’t the case as proven here. We’ve actually been finding out that he has a really BIG heart, and will do anything for his fans. Especially Dan, who is a die hard Kid Rock fan.
Many fans hate on Rock for his rough and tough demeanor, but what he did for this fan is amazing! Dan was born with Down syndrome and is a HUGE Pistons fan, so Rock made his dream come true by taking him to his first NBA game. The two attended the game on February 28, 2016, and they had a blast. Rock even shared how thankful he was for their time together.
“I cannot tell you how much fun I had with my friend Dan and his family watching the Pistons stomp Toronto! I want to extend a heart felt thank you to Tom Gores and the whole Pistons organization, from the players to the waitresses, all the staff and fans for making such a night more than special for Dan, his family and myself. This wasn’t the first time that Kid Rock and Dan have hung out though. The two met at Dan’s 30th birthday where Rock surprised him at Clarkston Union restaurant. I couldn’t believe this when I saw it. This truly shows how great and selfless of a guy Kid Rock really is. My mind is blown at the kindness and generosity he has shown to Dan and his family.

It’s heartbreaking that most people would treat Dan any different than others. It’s great to see Kid Rock treat him with respect and love just as he would any other fan.
