If You See A Red Light On House, Here’s The INCREDIBLE Reason Behind It

With the Halloween season coming around, it’s not uncommon to see people change the light in front of their homes to orange, but that’s not what’s going on this year. A new trend actually has people replacing the lights in front of their home with a red bulb – and the meaning is just so incredible, one may be appearing outside of your own home after you know the meaning behind it.
With public controversy and attention focusing on police officers at the moment, many others from different professions, who put their lives on the line to keep the public safe, are being overlooked. In fact, residents of Kansas City, Missouri are utterly devastated after losing Larry Leggio and John Mesh, two Kansas City Missouri firefighters, in a blaze recently.
As an outpouring of support continues to gush from the community, one resident in particular, Kelsey Jantsch, wanted to do something more. In an effort gaining quite a bit of attention, Kelsey, who also happens to be engaged to a firefighter, has screwed in a red light bulb on the front of her home to show support for firefighters.
On the night of the fire that took the lives of Larry and John, Kelsey explains that she and her fiancé rushed to the hospital to be with the other firefighters. “We went down to Truman to be with the rest of the firefighters, and it was pretty amazing to see everyone just coming together and supporting one another,” she said.
According to Kelsey, putting the red light up in front of her home and starting this movement is a way to make sure that the two men are not forgotten. “I want them (the public) to think about what these guys do every day,” she further explained. “I want them to support them, and I also would like them to think about the families. We kind of wanted to spread awareness about hopefully getting more contributed to these families.”
For now, Kelsey also seems to be struggling with her own reality check after being asked about her fiancé being a firefighter. “I don’t think I thought about it until this happened, and honestly, I think we’re just trying to still not think about it,” she replied. “I don’t think it’s hit either of us really. It’s amazing it’s something they chose to do.”

In a time when the entitled have embraced the “all about me” attitude, it’s no wonder such efforts are making rounds these days. Too often, people take advantage of those willing to put their lives on the line to keep everyone safe.
