She Put Pennies In A Bag Filled With Water On Her Back Porch For The ENTIRE Summer! Good To Know!
By Timfly

Summer is filled with warm nights, barbecues filled with yummy food, and lots of pool time, but there is one thing that can spoil your good time... FLIES! It's very unsettling seeing flies around your food or constantly swarming around you while eating.
You can try the expensive bug zappers, but they seem to only work best at night. Thankfully there is a somple and inexpensive solution! This easy 5 minute summer hack will give you a fly free BBQ and backyard! You probably don't even need to go to the store for the supplies because they are common things many of us have.
To make the fly preventing bag, gather plastic sandwich bags, lime juice, a few pennies, and salt.

Start by putting about two and a half cups of water into a bowl.
Then, add in the salt and the lime juice.
Add a few squirts, this will help keep the pennies nice and shiny to attract the flies.
Stir this mixture to blend it all together.
It will just look like regular water but by adding these ingredients its effects will last longer.
When the mix is made, pour it into the plastic Ziploc bag until it is almost full.
Before sealing the bag, the last step is to drop the pennies into the mix. The mixture keeps the pennies shiny.

To hang the bag up in the backyard, you can use a paper clip to hang it with some string.

Or you can use a binder clip and hang directly on a nail or hook. Flies are scared off by what they perceive to be a large body of water and become confused by the reflection of the sunlight hitting the water and the pennies. Enjoy your fly free summer!
