A Woman Leaves A Van Abandoned In A Parking Lot. Who Is Inside Of It? So Precious

Authorities in Florida say a woman fled from a traffic stop after being pulled over and left a 5-month-old baby behind.
The whole ordeal began when the unidentified woman drove into a Publix parking lot and was pulled over by a police officer.
According to West Melbourne police, the woman immediately took off on foot after the officer who pulled her over realized she had been driving on a suspended license.
While authorities began to search for the woman in the nearby woods, the first responding officer had to stay by the abandoned van to take care of the infant left inside.
“Our primary concern at that point was the safety of that baby that had been abandoned in the parking lot,” said Capt. Richard Cordeau.
According to police, the woman, whose name is not being released at this time, is not the abandoned baby’s mother.
Publix shoppers found it absolutely disturbing that the woman would run off and leave a baby alone like she did.
“Crazy. I don’t know why you would do that. Nothing could be that bad,” said shopper Denise Fitzpatrick.
For now, the Department of Children and Families has custody of the baby boy, though it remains unclear when he is expected to be reunited with his family.
