#1 This Is Squirt, The Smallest Pug You've Ever Seen
Squirt was born on January 28, 2016 at the Staffy and Bully Rescue In Western Australia. She had a few problems at birth. She wasn't born in the sack-like membrane that puppies are all born with. She was also struggling to breathe.

#2 When She Was Born, She Had Difficulty Breathing
When they saw she was having difficulty breathing, volunteers reacted quickly and resuscitated her. The problems didn't stop there. Throughout the first few days of her life, Squirt was significantly smaller than her brothers and sisters. As they grew bigger and stronger, she was still tiny. By comparison, Squirt weighed 185, whereas her siblings all were around 700 grams.

#3 In Order To Keep Squirt Alive, It Was Clear She Needed Undivided Care And Attention
With so many problems at such a young age, Squirt seemed to not be getting better and it was clear she needed undivided attention in order to receive the care she required to stay alive and gain strength.

#4 An Anonymous Staff Member Took On The Challenge
A staff member, who asked to remain anonymous, vowed to personally take care of Squirt. This meant hand feeding every two hours, around the clock.

#5 Working Hard To Stay Alive
Although, her very short life has been rough, there's no quit in Squirt. She's working hard get stronger with help from the staff at Staffy and Bully. They are documenting progress in detail at their Facebook page. Well wishes to Squirt and their staff. Go Squirt!
