He Put 6 Poles In The Ground, But The End Results Are Stunning!

A Reddit user by the name of My_DIY_Account shows how his built an awesome patio in his "city backyard" that allows him tons of privacy.

With only few square yards of space the clever Reddit builder in Milwaulkee wanted to have himself a fun outdoor spot for relaxation. First he started with 6-4x4s Douglas fir posts that he cemented vertically into the ground.

The posts became a fence and he then installed Venetian blinds styled planks to allow for privacy. He could now see out without his neighbors seeing in, also the blinds allowed for a breeze to pass through easily.

The fence was built with cedar wood used on the horizontal slats, while the initial 4x4s posts were also covered. He then finished by covering the wooden fence with a waterproof stain called, Waterlox.

Although the fence already gave the backyard privacy and was a major improvement, he wanted to add a patio deck beside the fence. He then dug trenches for the decking blocks, to secure the deck flooring and keep it sturdy and strong.

Then 4x4s were constructed as a floor frame and laid on top of the decking blocks.

Here's a happy fan, but the all in all, isn't the privacy given from the Venetian fence blinds the most brilliant? Well done!
