Thieves are placing devices called ATM skimmers on ATMs. ATM skimmers are devices that are affixed to credit card scanners to steal your credit and debit card information.

It is molded to match the credit card scanner and fit right over it. Make sure to pull or tug the scanner before using any ATM machine.

If the card scanner comes off when you pull it, it most probably was a skimmer. Make sure to tell your friends and family about this!
