Rhonda Brady of the gardening blog http://sproutsandstuff.blogspot.com/Sprouts and Stuff shared this fun and easy craft perfect for your backyard or porch. She shows us hot to make a unique rustic bucket stool project that not only looks cool and unique, it’s affordable and simple to make.
She uses organic matter and stones to create a seat for your garden that compliments the earth under it.
To create this stool for your garden, you’ll need
a 5-gallon bucket
a bag of concrete
and your favorite cement recipe
You’ll also want to collect three sturdy sticks for the legs of your stool. These should be at least 16-inches long and about 1 ½ inches thick. You could also repurpose old chair legs for this project.
Also, some decorative rocks could be perfect for the top of the stool. Collect these from streams and beaches.
Creating this sool is so east. First, put the decorative stones in the bottom of your bucket. Press in a layer of cement and then insert your sticks at least 1 ½ inches into the cement.

Let your stool sit for at least 10 hours. Then unmold your DIY creation. Flip it over and the bucket should slide right off the concrete.

To finish, mist the concrete top with water and seal in a plastic bag so it can cure. Give it a week or two.
