Flight Attendant Helps Save Couple’s Honeymoon With The Assistance From Coworkers 100s Of Miles Apart.
By Mike-Ross

The thrill of a wedding is such an incredible feeling, but the joy of leaving all the planning stress behind for a relaxing honeymoon is just as great. This was the exact plan for Lawyrn F. and Joe, who tied the knot in February. Their well-thought-out plan involved flying from Detroit to San Juan and embarking on a blissful honeymoon cruise the following day. However, there was a major hiccup: Lawyrn realized she had forgotten her passport at home.
Boarding the cruise required the passport, but they only discovered the oversight while already on their Delta Air Lines flight. They frantically tried to find a solution, but it seemed impossible to get the passport in time. Lawyrn was devastated by the situation, feeling disheartened and helpless. However, their fortune took a turn when Flight Attendant Dusty D. became aware of the predicament and decided to take matters into her own hands, formulating a plan to help them out.

Once Dusty was able to retrieve the passport in Detroit, he’d get it to Atlanta. From there, a fellow crew member who was heading to San Juan would make sure it got into Lawyrn’s hands. Or, as the airline put it on Facebook, he rallied “colleagues hundreds of miles apart to save the couple’s once-in-a-lifetime trip.”
The plan certainly took some coordinating but, in the end, everything went off without a hitch!
“We were so touched and grateful — a renewed faith in humanity was the best wedding gift,” read a statement from the couple. “We owe our post-wedding bliss to Dusty and the Delta family!”
