By MarissaRocks

Police in Utah are searching for a missing young woman who hasn't been seen in a week.

Mackenzie Lueck, 23, got into a Lyft in Salt Lake City last Monday, June 17. After she's been gone for a week, police are looking for the University of Utah student.
Lueck returned to Salt Lake City after visiting family, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release. Her flight landed around 1 a.m., and she took a Lyft from the Salt Lake City Airport to an address in North Salt Lake, Utah.

She was last seen at that address in the early morning hours of June 17. She texted her parents after her plane landed to let them know she had arrived safely.
Lyft has been cooperative with the investigation, according to police. There are no details being released about the driver.

Since going missing, the 23-year-old has missed her midterm exams and a flight to California for a friend's wedding, according to KSTU.
This is not characteristic of the Lueck, friends say. They have been canvassing the neighborhood where she was last seen.

Lueck is not believed to be in danger or harmed at this time, authorities said. Detectives are concerned for her welfare.

Anyone with information on Lueck's whereabouts is encouraged to call SLCPD at 1-801-799-3000. Please pray that she is found safe and sound!
