These 2 Siblings Lived Inside This Home For 70 Years And No One Was Welcomed Inside, Until Now
By waterbaby

Siblings and best friends Jack and Audrey Newton decided to move back into their family house after their parents passed away. Because they inherited the old farmhouse, they figured it would be fun to live together again, as if they were children again, in the nine-bedroom Queen Anne-style building that is just gorgeous from the inside and out. For over seventy years, the siblings lived together, perfecting the home and the land around it until they eventually passed away themselves.
Jack and Audrey never stopped working the land until old age forced them to slow down. They made it their own until they were in their 80s. And only after Audrey died in 2011 and Jack followed her up to heaven four years later did their connection to the Queen Anne-style home finally die. They had no children to bequest the home to and no direct relatives still living. They were the last of their family and thus the estate floated in limbo.
Because there was no one to take it, the Grange Farm was set to go to auction. It was a sad day for the house. But the auctioneers did their perfunctory check of the property. When they opened the front doors to check it out, they were blown away. They could not believe how Jack and Audrey had been living for the last seven decades. They were stuck in the past more than anyone the auctioneers had ever seen.
The contents of the home were untouched since the pair inherited the home from their beloved parents back in the 1940s. That’s right! These siblings were living as if they were still in the early part of the twentieth century. They never wanted to grow up!
The home has proven to be a time capsule of sorts. It’s filled with treasures from a previous generation that shed light on the way our parents and grandparents lived before our time. You’ll find the video of their abode both enlightening and haunting. To think that a pair of siblings lived together in this way for seventy years is a thing out of a horror movie. Nonetheless, the place is a beautiful representation of the way people lived after the Great Depression.

“Fascinating….certainly one of a kind. For that reason, it should be preserved as is, altogether, left as is. What a crime to auction off any of these historical treasures. I would love to see and experience this step into the past! Simply amazing and wonderful.”
“I love this house. It’s like you’re walking through a house frozen in time. I would live here in a heartbeat. It looks like a cozy, comfortable place. It should definitely be kept as it is. It’s beautiful.”
“Should be left as is. I would love to visit. What a beautiful place and the furniture reminds me of my youth in Europe. Love the whole thing!”
As you can see from most of the viewer comments, people want this house to remain as an artifact.
