Domino’s Driver Desperate For Tips Gets HUGE Order, Wasn’t What She Thought
By Michele

A Domino’s delivery driver in Tennessee picked up an extra shift on her day off because she desperately needed money to help raise her three young children. It just so happens that during the shift, a massive order was placed with the restaurant. While that would normally mean a sizable tip, it wasn’t what she thought it was going to be by any means.

Audrey Martin is a single mother, and according to Yahoo! News, she picked up an extra shift on Sunday to try to earn some extra cash for the holidays. Martin had just lost her apartment and has been living with her mother, so every little bit helps her out.

“It’s definitely hard doing it all on my own. I’m staying strong and I just have to thank the Lord,” she said, according to ABC News.
On Sunday, the store received an order for 10 pizzas from a local church, and normally, such an order would mean a generous tip. But what happened was anything from normal.
Martin went to deliver the pies, and when she arrived, Pastor Tony McAfee unexpectedly invited her inside. Once they went in, McAfee had Martin stand on the stage.
“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh,’” Martin recalled. “I was so nervous because there were so many people out there. I was like, ‘I hope I don’t pass out.’”

McAfee then asked his congregation if they would like to give Martin a generous tip, and what happened next was nothing short of a miracle for her. The pastor said that not a soul knew what her situation was, including himself, but everyone seemed eager to contribute to her tip.
“It was all done quietly and discreetly, and it was all spontaneous,” said McAfee. “When I mentioned we wanted to give this lady a generous tip, people began to run…to the front and began to throw money on the platform. And they’ve never seen this lady before in their life.”
In all, McAfee’s generous congregation came up with $1,400 to give to Martin, and she couldn’t be more grateful for it. “It’s going to help a lot,” she said. “Not only with the kids’ Christmas, but I recently lost my apartment. I’m able to get a place for the kids and me, to finally be able to move out of my mom’s house.”
As for McAfee, he’s both proud of his congregation and hopes their extreme generosity inspires others. “One of the greatest ways to illustrate our faith is action. Faith without works is dead,” he said.
Indeed it is. It would have been easy for them to not donate much at all or to make an excuse about why they couldn’t give anything. But instead, they all dug deep and came up with an incredible amount of money. As a result, a young mother was given exactly what she needed, and it came exactly when she needed it. To call it a miracle would be an understatement.
