When I read her brutally honest Christmas card, I found out the truth about her family

Every Christmas families around the globe exchange Christmas cards that often include a brief update about each family member. It’s a great tradition that keeps extended family and far-away friends in the loop about the family’s adventures over the past year.

One mother’s card is going viral after she included a brutally honest description. The following image was shared on Reddit,

The card has raised a few questions, particularly about the age of the parents. In the final line, the author says that Tom and Lisa are “somehow still married after 41 years.” Tom and Lisa could be the parents of the three children, or they could be the grandparents.

The author could mean that Tom and Lisa are both 41-years-old, or they have been married for 41 years. If she meant the latter, then Tom and Lisa are in their late 50s or early 60s. While it’s not common for a woman to give birth in her late 50s, it’s not impossible. Adoption or foster care are two other reasonable explanations for the age discrepancy.
