'Quiet' Dunkin' Donuts Employee's Big Secret Discovered...

In just one week, a New Hampshire man’s life changed.

“He, like, knows my coffee, he knows everybody’s coffee. You just walk in and he’s so personable and he’s so kind,” Joanna Griffiths told NH1.

Griffiths says Kyle Bigler is a familiar face at the Dunkin Donuts in Belmont.

However, his customers at Dunkin Donuts had no clue that his work was far from over when his shift ended.  Once Joanna found out what he did every day to make ends meet, she knew she wanted to share his story with others.

She took to Facebook to tell the story of how Kyle Bigler made a living each day:

I felt the need to share this with all of you, and perhaps make this man go viral. Last week I got an iced coffee at Dunkin donuts around 7:30am, later on that day I saw the same man walking but was unable to pick him up or I would have been late for work myself. Little did I know, he was walking 8 1/2 miles to his second full time job at the Big Apple for his Graveyard shift. I stopped at the Big Apple on my way home from work around 10:45pm to see if he could use a lift home while I grabbed gas, but he politely declined stating he worked another 3+ hours closing.

The moral of the story is this, if you are an able bodied person, there is a job out there for you. No matter what the job may be. This man walks 16 miles every day between both his jobs, making minimum wage at both. Minimum wage in New Hampshire is $7.25/hr. This man shows that if you are motivated, ambitious, and WILLING to work, it IS possible.

Note: if he didn't work and collected state and federal aid, he would make MORE than both his jobs combined.

The post was shared over 21,000 times.

Griffiths told KFOR that she knew Bigler quite well from his job at Dunkin' Donuts.

“He knows my coffee; he knows everybody’s coffee,” she said. "You just walk in, and he's so personable and he's so kind."

Bigler told the news station that he simply does what he has to do so he can pay his bills and see his son.

“On Sundays and Mondays, I do 20- to 21-hour shifts straight,” he said.

“There are jobs everywhere; you just have to look,” Bigler added. “If it’s a problem with someone not having a vehicle, I mean, I walk eight miles.”

After Griffiths' Facebook post went viral, Bigler was reportedly offered several jobs and given a new car, free of charge, from an auto shop.
