Baby Born On Halloween Has A Name So Unique, You'll Gasp When You Learn What It Is
By Dreamer

Hundreds of lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you’d like to view it!) babies are born on holidays each year, including one of our favorites days, Halloween. Now, Halloween might have some spooky connotations for some people, so having a baby born on Halloween might not be as excited for some families – but this family was essentially destined to have their little one on All Hallows Eve.
This October 31st, one of the newest Halloween babies was brought into the world, but not just to any old family. Luckily, this little boy’s name is all too perfect for the holiday he was born on.
The little babies’ name? Frankenstein.

Now, some people on the internet have been a little concerned that this is a little…unusual for a babies name. Even a little dark. But, rest assured, Frankenstein is the babies’ LAST name, not his first.
The family had been wondering, with the mom’s due date falling around late October, if the baby would actually come ON Halloween. Their name was pretty suited for it, after all! In fact, they were hoping that would be the case.
“Honestly, I didn’t think he would hold out ’til Halloween,” Mom Jessica Frankenstein said. “My husband and I discussed what it would be like having him on Halloween and how neat it would be when he gets older.”
Interestingly enough, it’s less likely that babies will be born on Halloween than any other day of the year. Studies indicate that this is most likely because of the negative, scary feelings associated with the holiday; experts believe this prevents women subconsciously from going into labor.
(Conversely, Valentine’s Day sees a 3.6% increase in births!)
Well, Jessica and her husband Kyle got their wish! The happy couple welcome little baby Oskar Gary Frankenstein on October 31st, 2017.
It’s going to be so much fun for the Frankenstein family to celebrate their babies’ birthday AND one of their favorite holidays on the same day! That will make trick or treating (and the whole holiday) even more fun – and with a name like that, it must be a pretty fun day to begin with.
