Teen Finds Dad Sitting In Strange Spot, When She Realizes Why, She Instantly Snaps A Picture

When a California teen returned home from school last Friday, she walked in on a sight that she didn’t expect. Noticing that her father was seated in an odd spot, she instantly decided to snap a picture as soon as she realized the heartbreaking reason.
Unfortunately, most couples do not maintain the sacred vows they take on their wedding day. It’s easy to say those famous words – “For better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health” – when you’re at your best and in the midst of the happiest day of your life. However, most couples who marry don’t actually stay together for the “worse,” “poorer,” and “sickness” parts of that promise.
The Newmans aren’t most couples.

Marci Newman was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October and was subsequently forced to endure radiation treatments which require that she remain in isolation. However, that didn’t stop her husband Jon from sticking by her side, through sickness and in health.
In fact, Jon took those vows quite literally, and his daughter Mackenna captured it in a heart-wrenching photograph which has gone viral on social media.
The 17-year-old snapped a picture of her father when she got home from school on Friday, which she posted on Twitter. “My mom has to stay in her room in isolation for her cancer radiation so my dad set up a desk at her door to keep her company and I’m crying,” Mackenna explained along with her snapshot.
The photograph understandably stirred up an array of emotions among fellow Twitter users.
“The amount of love I’ve received is crazy and I didn’t expect any of it, but I’m so grateful,” said Mackenna. “I just thought it was sweet because they are so in love.”

“Jon goes to every doctor’s appointment, every blood test, every surgery, every radiation,” Marci Newman told BuzzFeed. “And, as you can see, if he can’t be by my side he is as close as he can get!”
She is truly blessed to have such a devoted man by her side as she fights to beat cancer. Armed with Jon’s unwavering support, faith, and the medical care she needs, Marci’s chances of overcoming her illness look bright. We pray that she makes a full recovery and wish her family all the best as they navigate through this difficult time.
