Teen Calls With Problem, Family Shocked By How He’s Found At School [Photo]

No parent or grandparent wants to get the call, where your child or grandchild tells you there’s a problem at school, but that’s exactly what one Ohio mother and grandmother experienced. Now, his mother has taken to social media to share the photo that was captured, showing how the grandmother found the young man when she arrived at the school, and it’s going viral for good reason.
Cole Dotson noticed something amiss at his school, and he wasn’t about to walk on by as many others had done. Instead, this young man took action. Since it was all caught on camera and posted to social media where it’s spreading like wildfire, he’s giving a whole lot of people a renewed hope for the younger generation of Americans today.

Stunned to see what a fine young gentleman her grandson had become, the grandmother snapped the photo seen above. His mother, Rhonda Ordway Pester, posted the image on Facebook with the following caption:
“When your son calls his grandmother and says he has a problem….it’s usually not good. This is where she found him this morning. The flag fell to the ground, he saw it, stopped and held it until someone from school could come and put it back up. Proud of you Cole Dotson! 
????There is hope for America! ooh rah! #bleedingredwhite&blue.”
In a day and age where we often see our flag disrespected, it’s no wonder people are loving Cole’s photo. In just two short days, the image has been shared over 20,000 times. Cole has left the social media world cheering, as commenters praise the teen’s actions. This young man is a ray of hope in a world that seems to have gone mad. It’s nice to see that some youth are still being raised with pride and respect for their country and the flag that represents it.
This is an image that his mother will value for years to come, seeing the fine young man her baby boy turned out to be, but it’s doubtful she knew how valuable it would be to so many others when she uploaded it. We thank her for doing an amazing job and sharing it with the rest of us. For Cole, it was likely a simple act, but that single moment of maturity, respect, and American pride did much more than he could have ever realized as he held our great flag in his hands and stood patiently waiting.
As we are bombarded with images and videos of entitled punks defacing, disrespecting, and degrading our flag, Cole gave all of social media a break from that chaos. He reminded us that there are many of us who still bleed red, white, and blue. We aren’t a dying breed. Our actions often go unnoticed, as Cole’s would have without the photo that was shared, but these things do happen, usually when no one’s looking. Unfortunately, someone doing something right doesn’t always get the attention it deserves when it’s being overshadowed by so many doing wrong. Hopefully, more moments like this one will start to fill our social media feeds, drowning out the degenerates who have already gotten way too much attention.
