A beautiful and popular girl named Vee Nguyen of Lansing, Michigan just uploaded a video to her Facebook profile, and it’s causing a social media firestorm. In the video, she has her friends show a disabled boy a box painted with the words “I’ll take you to prom when pigs fly,” but when the contents of the box were revealed, it left everyone speechless.

Vee says on her Facebook post that she met Ben Davis two years ago, and they became instant friends. Ben is a sweet person with a kind heart, so she wanted to ask him to go to the prom with her in the most amazing way.
Vee went through a lot of planning to stage her “promposal.” She had her friends show Ben a box that read “I’ll ask you to prom when pigs fly.” When her friends cut the tape on the box, balloons that were made to look like pigs flew out of it. As they wheeled Ben around, he sees Vee approaching to ask him the very important question. She said it was an honor to ask him to the dance and Ben said “yes!”
Vee states on her Facebook profile that she had absolutely no idea that she would be getting so much attention for her video. She says that she was only being kind and that is something we all should do. Most would agree with Vee on this one.
This girl has shown how to care for and treat all people regardless of what physical barriers they face. That’s something only a few humans actually care to do. It’s women like Vee Nguyen that will change this world for the better with their ability to inject kindness into every corner of their lives.
