Rude Couple Insults Mom & Kids, No One Expected What Happened Next...

One young mother had taken her kids to the International House of Pancakes one morning for some breakfast when quite the humiliating scene unfolded. As the family sat down in a booth next to an older couple, the rude duo made quite an inappropriate remark about the family before moving to another table. However, as onlookers observed the entire incident, they knew they needed to step in – and when they did, the young mother and her kids were left absolutely stunned.
Jessica Andrade was excited to take her kids to IHOP for breakfast. As the server placed them at their designated booth, they sat down and began to look over their menus to see what they would order. Unfortunately, they were placed next to an old couple who didn’t exactly like children, and that’s when everything went a bit haywire.

“Brought the kids to IHOP this morning. As soon as we sat in our booth the old couple next to us started mumbling and making faces,” Jessica explained, according to Love What Matters. “I get it, not everyone likes kids.” The older couple then proceeded to ask staff to be moved to another location. Of course, Jessica’s kids took notice of how the old couple was treating them and immediately felt embarrassed for being themselves. “I told my kids to quiet down ‘relax’ and explained that the people next to us didn’t like kids,” Jessica said.
However, unbeknownst to Jessica and her children at the time, another family witnessed the entire incident and were absolutely disgusted with what they saw. After overhearing what the couple was saying, the family knew they needed to step in – except Jessica had no idea what they had planned until after they had already left the restaurant.
“That family paid for my bill and wrote this note on the receipt,” Jessica said. “I didn’t even get to thank them. Good people are all around!”

The note read, “Never feel the need to apologize for your kids being kids. Love them, enjoy them always. God bless, enjoy your day!”
As a parent, there is one thing you learn really quickly — kids will be kids. You can’t always control what they do or say, but you can always look on the bright side and make their childhood enjoyable. There’s no need to degrade a child for being themselves – as long as they’re being respectful, there’s nothing wrong with them being a bit curious and energetic.
There was no need for the elderly couple to make Jessica feel embarrassed about her kids or make a big scene over something that could have been handled quietly. If you don’t like where you are sitting at a restaurant, just quietly request a new seat and move on with your day. Thankfully, the onlooking family was able to make something good out of a bad situation and truly brightened someone’s day just by spreading a bit of kindness.
